I’m Done – Sulley Muntari Says As He Retires From Football

Sulley Muntari has retired from football.

The Ghanaian footballer announced his retirement in an interview with Sky Sports.

He also explained why he joined Hearts of Oak.

“I’m done, I just did a few months with the local side. My son wanted me to play. I didn’t play for almost three years then my son decided to ask me to go and play. I did that,” Muntari revealed.

His football career started with Liberty Professionals before he moved to Udinese.

He played with several teams abroad before he moved back to Ghana to play for Hearts of Oak in 2022.

Sulley Muntari was also featured in crucial matches for the Black Stars of Ghana.
