8 SHS Students Face Dismissal After Insulting Nana Addo

Eight SHS students have faced dismissal after they insulted President Akufo-Addo.

The female students of the Chiana Senior High School in the Kassena Nankana West District of the Upper East Region were suspended last year after they insulted the President in a viral video.

The Ghana Education Service believes their dismissal will serve as a deterrent to other students.

They used unprintable words against Nana Addo in the video.

According to Joy FM, a parent of one of the students, yesterday received a letter signed by the Acting Director of the Ghana Education Service (GES), Dr Eric Nkansah informing them of the dismissal of their wards with immediate effect.
