Former France Ambassador Reveals How Proud She Is After Ghana Got 2 Goals Against Portugal

Former France Ambassador to Ghana, Ann Sophie Ave has talked about Ghana and Portugal’s match.

Portugal snatched a controversial 3-2 win against Ghana on Thursday in the World Cup 2022.

The man at the centre of affairs, referee Ismail Elfath has been heavily criticized after the match.

Some Ghanaian soccer fans have called on FIFA to sanction him.

But for her part, Ann Sophie was proud of Ghana’s performance.

With their ability to get two goals against Portugal, she said in a tweet that they played honourably.

The former France Ambassador to Ghana wrote: “Look at it this way. Out of 3 subsaharian African teams, Ghana 🇬🇭 is the only one who scored 2 goals. And against Portugal 🇵🇹 Sad of course but still proud they fought honourably.”
