Football Legend Pelé Dies

Brazilian football legend, Pelé has died.

He reportedly died on Thursday, December 29, 2022.

The football star was admitted to a hospital in São Paulo in late November for a respiratory infection and complications related to colon cancer.

After the sad news, his daughter, Kely Nascimento wrote in a post on Instagram: “Everything that we are, is thanks to you, we love you infinitely. Rest in peace.”

A lot of people, including popular footballers, have paid tribute to Pelé.

He was 82.
