The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has banned Ghana U-17 women’s football team.
The Black Maidens were banned over age fraud after their match against Morocco.
Following Morocco’s report to CAF, a decision has been made-and Ghana cannot compete in the next two qualifiers of the U-17 Women’s World Cup.
The Moroccans protested the ages of Nancy Amoh and Rasheeda Shahadu, claiming they were overage.
According to a report, the Ghana Football Association failed to respond to the allegations by writing to the CAF Disciplinary Board.
However, Ghana can still appeal this decision to the CAF Appeal Board.
