What Kwaw Kese needs to do before getting his royalties paid to him has been revealed.
The interim Chairman of GHAMRO, Rex Omar disclosed why the rapper is not receiving royalties.
According to him, Kwaw has not updated his records with the association.
Numerous calls placed to him to update his records, Rex said did not fall into a good ear.
He also revealed that about Ghc 13,000 is sitting in the black box of GHAMRO for the ‘Abodam’ rapper.
Rex Omar added that all that Kwaw Kese needs to do is to give his details to the association and get paid.
He made this disclosure to Ghanaian journalist, Kwame Dadzie.
Kwame reported: “I just spoke to Rex Omar, the interim Chairman of GHAMRO on the claim by Kwaw Kese that he has not been paid any royalties since he started music.
According to Rex, Kwaw Kese was a member of the old COSGA but when COSGA was spilt into three CMOs by law, birthing GHAMRO for musicians, Kwaw Kese did not updated his records with them.
Rex told me they have called Kwaw umpteenth times to update his records but he has not done that.
He also added that at the moment, Kwaw Kese has about 13,000 cedis sitting in their black box. He only needs to give them his details to get his money.”
