Shatta Wale has supported Sarkodie over his statement about Ghanaian radio presenters.
Sarkodie said in a recent interview that radio presenters who have worked for twenty years and have not moved to Choice or BBC do not have the moral right to talk about artistes not moving to international stages.
“It is easy for somebody to sit on radio and tell you Shatta Wale no do this. You, you dey radio top for Ghana for close to 20 years wey you no fit come enter Choice for here or BBC. I don’t think you have the moral right to talk about artiste wey e dey Ghana wey e no move. Because me I go BBC because it is Komla Dumor wey e make I go,” he said.
His statement has received a lot of reactions.
Responding to it, Shatta Wale defended Sarkodie.
He stated that what Sarkodie said is the truth.
Shatta Wale’s reaction is not surprising because he has been on the nerves of some industry players for some time now.
