Asamoah Gyan Replies His Critics After He Opened Up About Qatar World Cup Dream

Asamoah Gyan has replied to those criticizing him after he said he would like to play for the Black Stars in the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Gyan opened up about his dream to play for the Ghanaian National team during an interview with BBC’s John Bennett.

He said he was going to work hard in order to be fit and get a call-up.

“Anything can happen, it has happened before back in 1994 when Roger Milla came back from retirement to play in the World Cup,” Asamoah Gyan said.

The footballer has been heavily chastised by some Ghanaians after his statement.

Replying to his critics, Gyan shared a photo on Twitter with the caption:
“ONE MAN THOUSAND I’m the news and go make u keep talking”
