Asamoah Gyan has appealed to Ghanaians to pray for the Black Stars.

At a time when most Ghanaians are unhappy with the team and selection made for the World Cup, the former Black Stars captain has made a vital call to his country folks.

He asked them to halt their criticisms until Ghana play its first match in the World Cup 2022.

For now, Gyan wants Ghanaians to pray for the Black Stars to deliver.

He wrote on Twitter: “Everyone have shared his or her opinion about the BLACK STARS. 26 man squad is out now so what we have to do now is to support those in camp now. If u have any comments, wait till after the first game of the tournament. But for now, let’s pray for the team to deliver 🙏🏿🙏🏿💪🏿💪🏿.”

Some Ghanaian football fans registered their displeasure after Coach Otto Addo announced the final squad on Monday, November 14, 2022.
