Kwame A Plus has called on Ghanaians to begin a campaign that will force President Akufo-Addo to sack the Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta.
He urged both Ghanaians at home and abroad to join.
The social and political activist was hopeful that Ghana and the cedi can be saved after Mr Ofori-Atta has been sacked.
A Plus made this call in a post on Twitter.
He wrote: “We must begin a campaign to force the president to sack Ken Ofori Atta. Every professional association, civil society organisation, workers union & all influencial people in Ghana & abroad must be part of this campaign to save Ghana, the NPP party & the Cedi. #OforiAttamustgo.”
His post comes at a time that the Ghana cedi is depreciating at a fast pace against the dollar and other foreign currencies.
