Some Players Are Not In The Squad Because Of ‘Pay To Play’ – Stonebwoy Reacts To Black Stars Squad
Ghanaian musician, Stonebwoy has fingered the Ghana Football Association (GFA) in a ‘Pay To Play’ scandal.
After Coach Otto Addo announced the 26-man squad for the World Cup 2022, the popular musician unhappily reacted.
He said in a tweet that some players were not called because of ‘Pay To Play’ implemented by the GFA.
The Burniton Music Group boss wrote: “There are players who are supposed to be in the squad who are not here because of #PayToPlay @ghanafaofficial why?”
Meanwhile, players like Richard Ofori, Jojo Wollacott, and Baba Iddrisu missed out due to injuries.
Mubarak Wakaso, Jeffery Schlupp and others did not get a call-up.
However, there were some regular Black Stars players in the latest squad.
