Shatta Wale Fined By Court Over False News Publication

Shatta Wale has been fined by the court over false news publication.

The Ghanaian musician was arrested some months ago after he faked his gunshot incident.

He pleaded not guilty when he made his first court appearance.

During the hearing of the case on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, Shatta Wale changed his plea to guilty.

He was then fined GHS 2,000 by an Accra Circuit Court presided over by Emmanuel Essandoh.

Shatta Wale claimed he staged the gunshot incident after a prophecy Jesus Ahoufe made about him.
