Reluctant Ras Kuuku Threatens To Sue MTN Over SIM Card Re-Registration
Ghanaian musician, Ras Kuuku, is feeling reluctant to re-register his SIM card.
He disclosed in an interview that he has not taken part in the ongoing SIM re-registration exercise.
Kuuku stated that he will sue MTN if they disconnect his SIM card.
According to him, he has a contract with MTN since he registered his SIM card when he purchased it.
“I haven’t registered my SIM because I already registered. I have a contract with MTN,” Ras Kuuku told Docta Kay on Nkran Kwanso on Accra100.5FM.
He added: “Once they disconnect me, I’ll sue MTN because we have a contract, the contract has not been revoked, so why will you disconnect me when I purchased and used my ID to register the number?”
Recently, the deadline for the re-registration of SIM cards was extended to September 30, 2022.
