Female rapper, Eno Barony, is concerned about why people are doubting Sarkodie after he revealed his first encounter with Beyonce.

The popular rapper talked about his first encounter with Beyonce during a discussion with MACG on his ‘Podcast and Chill’ show.

“There was a funny story that happened, till date, I haven’t had the courage to share it but Ice Prince came to Ghana and shared it. When I come to Ghana and share this story, there is no way they gonna believe me.

“I was sitting at the BET on the aisle and we have Beyoncé and her crew coming and she saw me and stood right in front of where I was sitting and she bowed her head. Obviously, I was thinking it wasn’t me and so I was looking behind. Then Ice Prince said that was you and she just shook her head and just walked off. So when I saw her do this new project with a lot of African artistes, I was like these guys kinda know what is actually happening,” he revealed.

“I don’t want to conclude that Beyoncé knew me but it is not far from that. The more I get into the industry, they know everything that’s happening. They don’t necessarily speak on it and they don’t let you know they see what’s happening,” Sarkodie added.

Reacting to the doubts that some people are having, Eno stated in an interview on 3FM that what Sarkodie said is possible.

“TV3 is the first platform that I had the chance to showcase my talent. People don’t know this, but I came for an audition when I was a kid. There was a program it was called Gang Starz. I came for it, I qualified and I was part of it. Later I left for school and came back as Eno. I knew here, but this is not the first place that I came for my first interview.”

“It’s about time we respect our own If Beyonce is Beyonce there, Sarkodie is Sarkodie here. So she can know Sarkodie, but she didn’t prefer to do the song with Sarkodie. I’m sure Beyonce knows Davido, but she didn’t do anything with him,” she posited.
